Super Powers

I keep seeing quizzes where people answer what super power they would like to have if they could have just one. The answer is usually invisibility which shows that nobody is really thinking.

First off, if you were invisible you would have to be naked or people could see your clothes. I’m guessing that if someone sees a t-shirt and jeans fly into their house that they might question it. I’m thinking people who live where there is a winter might not find that super power real fun when they can be invisible standing in the snow. If you think you are going to sneak around don’t forget that people notice things like doors and windows opening by themselves. It would be really funny when you are invisible and someone walks into you and knocks you down the stairs because they can’t see you. It’s pretty hard trying to get someone to call 911 when they can’t see you. I mean even if they do get paramedics there how will they find you?

Now that I am through bitching about invisibility let me tell you some super powers that would be worth having! How about the power to mimic anything including other people’s super powers? That might be cool right? Or maybe the power to create money out of thin air. If you think about it maybe the neighbors daughter that you are trying to see naked by being invisible might actually just get naked and do anything you want for the million dollars you turn her clothes into. “I’m sorry officer but you will not be giving me a ticket for a road rage related death because that little ticket book is now $1,000,000 worth of $100 bills.” It could really suck if you accidentally turned the wrong object into a pile of money while showing off. I imagine you would have to resist using your power on an airplane in case you missed. It would be interesting to see how the news would cover 200 Delta passengers falling to their deaths and then getting showered by millions of dollars though.

In any case, I wouldn’t choose any of the powers mentioned above. The power I would choose would be simple. Every time a beautiful woman blew me it would result in world peace or the elimination of another organized religion. Hey wait those are the same thing!!!!
